11. PMI Membership
Millennium Consulting’s Sr. Vice President of Customer Engagement, Jim Hansen, is honored to have been a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) for over 10 years. PMI is an international association created for professional project, portfolio, and program managers with 3 million members worldwide.
In operation for over 50 years in 80 countries, PMI works to “advance careers, improve organizational success and further mature the project management profession through globally-recognized standards, certifications, communities, resources, tools, academic research, publications, professional development courses, and networking opportunities” (www.pmi.org/about).
Over the past decade, Jim Hansen has supported PMI as not only a member, but has also served as a volunteer, facilitator for monthly forums, and as a speaker/presenter. He has also worked on their Humanitarian Project Initiative and Planning Committee. In addition, Millennium Consulting has been a corporate sponsor for PMI events.
