CASE STUDY: RPG ILE Developers for a Global Biotech/FDA Healthcare Client
CHALLENGE: The client was seeking a Lead RPG ILE Developer to replace a competitor’s developer that left the project early, as well as RPG Developers to augment the established team. They were in the midst of integrating pricing and rebate functions into a retail management system and needed a replacement immediately.
SOLUTION: Utilizing long-standing relationships, Millennium Consulting interviewed over 56 candidates and was able to present more than a dozen qualified candidates to the client in less than a week. The client interviewed 10 candidates.
RESULT: A total of 4 RPG Developers were brought in as Consultants, including one winning the Lead Developer role. With the help of developers provided by Millennium Consulting, the client’s integration project was completed successfully on time, under budget, and to scope. The developers hired for this project have been contracted by the client through Millennium for multiple projects since then.
CASE STUDY: Business Objects Developer for S&P 500 Biotechnology Client
CHALLENGE: Our New England based Biotech client was undergoing a modification/update project when they realized they needed a Business Object resource. The project involved modifying 2 Master Universes (replacing one table with another, changing joins and object definitions) and updating 14 universes with new joins and contexts to the masters.
SOLUTION: Millennium dug in immediately using our in-depth database of talent to identify a BOBJ Developer familiar with Business Objects v.4 and able to join changes to derived tables and Oracle views using SQL. Within 15 days of receiving the requirement, Millennium’s team submitted over 5 qualified Business Object candidates, had two interviewed, and won the contract.
RESULT: The consultant we provided was vital to the completion of the project, which was completed successfully and within the allotted time period. The client was so satisfied with the resource, they have contracted over a dozen of our consultants since then on various IT projects.
CASE STUDY: Data Architect for Leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturer
CHALLENGE: Pharmaceutical/Biotech client, a global manufacturer based in New England, had an immediate requirement for a Data Architect. The project required an architect with expertise in SFDC, Oracle, and Informatica Powercenter & Informatica Cloud to transfer and integrate data into and from Salesforce. The client was specifically seeking a resource with no less than 5 years of related experience and the ability to design data-centric solutions.
SOLUTION: Leveraging Millennium’s collaborative work environment, our sales and recruiting teams pooled their collective resources (prior consultants, networking contacts, specialized search engines, etc.) to locate and submit two highly qualified candidates at competitive rates in less than 2 days. Both Data Architects submitted by Millennium were brought in for subsequent interviews.
RESULT: Of the two Millennium candidates interviewed, the client quickly selected one of the Consultants. The SFDC data integration project was completed not only under budget, but also 4 days before schedule. Thanks to the success of the project, Millennium’s Data Architect was contracted once again for the client’s next project.
CASE STUDY: Salesforce Developer for International Biotech Firm
CHALLENGE: The client, a global manufacturer of diagnostic and information technology-based products and services, had an estimated 6 month project planned to implement a CRM solution in Salesforce.com. The project required an experienced Salesforce developer able to efficiently design and develop CRM solutions, advise on best practices, and integrate Salesforce.com with existing systems and third-party providers.
SOLUTION: Our knowledgeable and well-networked talent acquisition team was able to gather 6 fully qualified local SFDC Developer candidates to present to the client within 5 business days. All 6 submitted candidates were invited to interview with the client over the phone. 4 of those, each with proven experience developing solutions in Salesforce in an FDA/Biotech environment, moved on to in-person interviews, beating out competing staffing agencies’ candidates.
RESULT: The selected Millennium Salesforce Development Consultant joined the client team and lead the CRM solution project to an early finish, saving the client time, resources, and funds. This Salesforce Developer was so successfully, the client took him on as a full-time employee through Millennium Consulting and has consistently turned to us first since then for all their IT consulting requirements.
