Technical Support Specialist II

Description:

Direct Hire.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and provide expert level support for client-server solutions, web-based solutions, client/desktop systems administration, specialized database management, mobile devices, and project planning/implementation
  • Serve as an SME, client lead, technical lead, and/or project lead/manager for various project, service, or platform teams
  • Act as application administrator or backup for multiple services
  • Provide continuous support at software and hardware levels
  • On-call, evening, weekend, and/or holiday hours as needed

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
  • At least 3 years of related experience in a technology role
  • Highly skilled with software, hardware, and network troubleshooting
  • In-depth experience diagnosing both Windows and MacOS issues
  • Ability to install, configure, and upgrade Windows and Mac applications, various specialized applications, peripherals, and mobile devices
  • Solid understanding of restricted use data
  • Experience with image and deployment, patching, backup and restore, remote assistance, asset management, virus protection, and various native or centrally managed encryption solutions
  • Experience with WordPress and web site content management/development
  • Familiar with TCP/IP LAN/wireless networking principles and application protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, FTP)
  • Ability to life up to 50 lbs
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
