Technical Support Specialist I

Description:

Direct hire.

Our client is seeking a full-time Technical Support Specialist I to reliably provide top-notch support to update and improve business processes using Information Technology solutions. This position requires on-call and evening, weekend, and/or holiday hours as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical lead, client lead, SME, and/or projectlead/manager for various teams
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and deliver expert-level support
  • Client and desktop systems administration
  • Client-server and web-based solutions
  • Support and troubleshoot mobile devices

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar technology role
  • In depth experience diagnosing MacOS and Windows issues
  • Experience troubleshooting software, hardware, and network issues
  • Experience with asset management, remote assistance, image and deployment, backup and restore, patching, virus protection, and native and centrally managed encryption solutions
  • Ability to install, configure, and upgrade Windows and Mac applications, peripherals, and mobile devices
  • Familiarity with Exchange, Active Directory, group policy, VMware, file permissions and performance monitoring
  • Understanding of restricted use data
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid driver's license required
