Financial/Supply Chain Systems Analyst



The scope of this role includes responsibility for collecting business requirements and system specifications from internal and external customers, process mapping, process improvement, developing system documentation and training manuals, writing RFP specifications, gap analysis, and contributions to the development of project deliverables from design to release. This role will include coordination of design/implementation efforts between internal teams and vendors to develop optimal solutions. The selected candidate will be expected to make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market (agile based) and clearly communicate to internal, cross-functional, and remote project teams.

To be successful in this role the right candidate will possess a strong business analysis background, will have demonstrated experience leading complex and various-sized projects, and will have a well-rounded technical background in current ERP technologies. Candidate must be able to adapt, thrive, and navigate, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. He or she will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. An ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner is expected. Negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role.

Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of Business Analysis experience with a focus on requirements gathering and business process redesign
  • 5+ years' experience with Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project, or similar project planning suites
  • Experience working with various technical stacks and 3 rd party vendors
  • Knowledge of financials, accounting, or supply chain management, including PeopleSoft Financials or similar ERP financials product
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with both technical and non-technical individuals
  • Experience developing enterprise-wide technical manuals or publications
  • Demonstrated ability to balance deadlines, deliver projects within budget, and achieve a high-level of customer satisfaction
  • Understanding and experience of project management methodologies
  • Experience managing or implementing efforts in large scale SaaS based ERP
  • Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
